While willpower has its place, it isn’t something you solely want to rely on, particularly if you are tried and stressed as it really doesn't work well then! Focusing on creating good habits is much more effective. It is estimated that around 40% of what you do every day is habitual.

Make eating more veggies a habit by:
Planning your meals
Making your lunch go-to a salad or soup
Making a veg snack box
Aiming to have ½ your plate full of non-starchy veg every night

Commit to time and location when making plans
These are great habit anchors. So, whether it is your fitness plans, intentions to spend more time with your family, or a hiking trip you want to do - make sure you lock in 'when and where' so plans are made and met!
Manage your environment
Make the foods that you know are better for you easier to access, and make it harder to access the things you want to be having less of. For example: keep the healthier foods at eye level or at the front of your fridge and cupboards.
