Nutritional beauty: protein, gut health and smart food choices

I caught up with Mel Homer, host of House of Wellness, on The Breeze radio show to chat about ‘nutritional beauty - how the food we eat influences the health of our skin, hair, and nails.

We explored the impact of highly processed foods, how to create a healthier food environment to support better choices, and the crucial role of gut health. We also discussed key nutrients many people may be lacking, that play a role in maintaining strong, healthy skin, hair, and nails.

Another key discussion point was getting adequate protein and the everyday foods that provide more protein than you might realise, plus some simple, affordable high-protein breakfast ideas. I hope this interview, along with my protein guide, helps you feel more comfortable about incorporating protein into your diet with a little more ease.
