Ice gardens

This was definitely the winning at home activity this week!! The boys went on a nature hunt round the garden and collected all sorts of different leaves, flowers and small rocks.

We then popped these into yoghurt pots and bottles from the recycling bin, topped them up with water and then put them in the freezer overnight. This was the result SO COOL!

This is definitely one to try at home with your kids! They both talked about it non-stop on their school/day care zoom sessions and really enjoyed watching them melt and the leaves and flowers coming out.

Zac also made one with leftover bits from the art and craft box which was also a hit!
